The capital city of the country, Delhi is the hub of politics in the present times. If one looks at the history of this present-day metropolitan, one will notice that it has been so, for the past many centuries. Every dynasty that ruled this city in different times brought along with them their own culture that also included their architectural type. Many of them built monuments during their reign that now have become heritage monuments of the capital city. The sky-high buildings of today have overshadowed these age-old monuments but there are some people who have a lot of interest in knowing about these largely ignored monuments. Many such buildings are nestled the heart of extremely popular, Chandni Chowk, the famous street of the old part of Delhi, formerly known as Shahjahanabad. Although the bylanes of this place are very popular for its wedding-related stuff and food, but there are some lesser-known buildings that are worth visiting.
